But now you have brought us into this wilderness to starve us all to death.” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I’m going to rain down food from heaven for you. Each day the people can go out and pick up as much food as they need for that day. I will test them in this to see whether or not they will follow my instructions. On the sixth day they will gather food, and when they prepare it, there will be twice as much as usual.” Exodus 16:3c-5 (NLT)
It can be easy to forget that God has plans for our lives. We can look to our past as a possible signal of how God will provide for our future. But God’s plan is to provide for us each day. We just have to do our part and follow whatever and wherever He leads.

God, thank you for having plans for my life. Show me my part in following your plans. Help me to show the way to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
