Worship

8 Then Haman approached King Xerxes and said, “There is a certain race of people scattered through all the provinces of your empire who keep themselves separate from everyone else. Their laws are different from those of any other people, and they refuse to obey the laws of the king. So it is not in the king’s interest to let them live. Esther 3:8 (NLT)

In this verse, it is talking about the Jewish people putting God first, instead of worshiping the king. King Xerxes, after talking to Haman, gave permission to have these people killed. Sometimes being a Christian is hard, sometimes people will not agree with us. In America, we don’t have to worry about getting killed for our beliefs but in other countries they have to worry about that every day. They go on with their faith though because they know God is in command. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is to give God the control. If you are afraid to talk about your faith, if you have any worries in your life, give them to God.
