Thou Shalt Not Judge

30 But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus’ disciples, “Why do you eat and drink with such scum? [tax collectors and sinners]” 31 Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. 32 I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”

Luke 5:30-32 (NLT)

Jesus came to save everyone, not just the ones who considered themselves holy. The religious elite at the time did not understand Jesus’s teaching and did not understand that Jesus loves us all, no matter what we do. He saw it as those who are sinners and those who do not always do the right things are the ones He was came to Earth for. Jesus doesn’t care what you have done in your life, He cares about you. If you repent he forgives, it is that simple. On the other side of that if you think you are perfect and don’t sin, you are wrong. Everyone sins and everyone needs to repent.
