So the people of Israel ate manna for forty years until they arrived at the land where they would settle. They ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan. Exodus 16:35 (NLT)
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for forty years, and God provided for them until it was time to transition into their next phase and possess their inheritance. The next phase of their provision came from following God’s commands. They were able to trust God to provide for whatever they needed. We can trust God to take care of us. We just need to listen for His voice and follow His plans.
Prayer:
God, thank you for reminding me that you provided for the Israelites and can provide for me. I will trust in you and follow your voice. Help me to have a listening ear for what you have to say to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
