Ordinary Hands

And God was doing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul… Acts 19:11 (ESV)

Paul was educated in the Jewish laws (Acts 22:3). He also had the job of being a tentmaker (Acts 18:3). He was raised in the ways of the church and had a job, just like any other ordinary person. But God performed the extraordinary through Paul. God used Paul to heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead. Paul himself was bitten by a poisonous snake and survived.

God is still in the miracle-working business. People are still being healed. People are still surviving things that practically, it appears they should not. God wants to use us to perform extraordinary miracles. We just have to be open to being used by Him. Allow God to use your ordinary hands to do extraordinary miracles.

Prayer:
God, thank you for being a miracle-working God. You are the same God that created the heavens and the earth. Use my ordinary hands to perform extraordinary miracles for your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
