“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
While we can pray on our own, we can also pray with others. When we get together with other believers, God is with us. Whenever God is on the scene, He brings His power and authority with Him. The Bible tells us there is power in the prayer of agreement (Matthew 18:19). As we agree in prayer with others, which includes other believers and our spouses, God shows up and our prayers can change things. It’s time to gather in His name.
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 (NIV)
Prayer:
God, thank you for reminding me of the power of agreement. Please send people into my life that I can pray with. Use me for your will. In Jesus’ name. Amen
