We serve a God that created the heavens and the earth. He spoke the universe into existence. He created all the trees we see, the flowers we smell, and the people we meet every day. Every baby born, every sunrise and sunset, every storm cloud are the handiwork of God.
We are surrounded by miracles every day. Humankind rebelled against God and chose their own path. We are all sinners saved by God’s grace. We all deserve death for our sins but because of God’s sacrifice of His only son, we can become His children. We can see the display of God’s power everywhere we look, we just need to take the time to look.
Prayer:
God, thank you for the reminder of your miraculous power that is on display everywhere. Help me to pay more attention to your miracles that surround me. Use them to grow my faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
