Who’s Your Daddy?

25 Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Acts 16:25 (NLT)

Imagine the hopeless situation Paul and Silas found themselves in.  The two men do what brings them most comfort and remind themselves who is for them.  They begin to sing words of comfort to their souls and confidence in their heavenly Father.

God hears the songs of His children.  That night in prison, God was listening and so were the jailer and prisoners.

WHEN WE DON’T KNOW THE “WHY” WE NEED TO LEAN INTO THE “WHO.”

Many things happen in life and we don’t understand why.  It can be the loss of a beloved relationship, the death of a close friend or relative, the end of a business.  We can always be left wondering, “Why God, why?”  But in these hardest times, it is best for Believers when they cannot trace their heavenly Father’s hand, to always trust His heart.

Below are comforting verses of God’s promises when you are left wondering “Why?”.
Scriptures will point you to the “Who” you can always come to.

These verses are penned by the hand of Paul.  These were written during the course of his ministry, long after the first experience of preaching the Gospel of Jesus.  Be encouraged, as Paul knew his heavenly Father, you also have that same Daddy watching over you.

All things work together for the good of those who love God.  Romans 8.

God IS FOR us.  And if God is FOR US, who can be against us?  Romans 8.

God is faithful, who will not allow us to be overcome with temptations1 Corinthians 10.

He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1.

Draw near to God
Read these Chapters and understand the heart the Father has for His children.  Maybe some of these words were the very thoughts that carried Paul and Silas through the night.
