God loves humankind. He created us out of an overflow of love. But God can hate the attitude of our hearts. He hates when we are prideful or when we lie, not only about ourselves but use those lies to cause problems among others. He hates scheming hearts and those that rush off to do evil things. He also hates those that shed innocent blood, which can come in many forms. God loves us but sometimes hates our actions.
Prayer:
God, thank you for your love for me. Please forgive me for the sin in my life. Help me to be an example for you. Please purify my heart so I can be more like you. In Jesus name. Amen.
