It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1 (NASB)
We can all pray and talk to God, but we may not be comfortable, confident or understand how to pray when we become believers. We can ask God to teach us to pray. He sent the Holy Spirit to assist us. As we listen to His voice, He can guide us in the way to pray. All we have to do is ask Him to teach us to pray.
Prayer:
God, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Teach me how to pray. I want to pray for your will to be done in the earth. In Jesus’ name. Amen
