We can easily feel as if we can’t live up to God’s expectations for us. We may view him as an overbearing parent or someone sitting in heaven waiting for us to make a mistake so He can discipline us. But that is not the case. He is a loving father that only wants good things for us. The things that God requires of you are to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.
Prayer:
God, thank you for showing me what is good. Open my eyes to unjust and unmerciful actions in my life. Help me to walk humbly before you and set an example for others. In Jesus name. Amen.
