Shepherds play an important role in the lives of sheep. The shepherd makes sure the sheep have all the food and water they need. He protects them from wild animals and also guards them at night no matter wherever they are. We have a shepherd that provides everything we need. He knows what we need before we know ourselves. When we look at God as our shepherd, we can be confident that all we need will be taken care of.
Prayer:
God, thank you for being my shepherd. You provide for all my needs, you are my protection and guard me. Help me to remember that all I could ever need is in you. In Jesus name. Amen.
