12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 (NIV)
We are reflections of Jesus. When we follow Jesus his light flows through us. Our good deeds matter in this world. We have that ability through Jesus to shine that light on others. We have the ability to show others God’s goodness. We can bring people out of the darkness. We are here to take care of others, we are here to have faith even when others don’t. We are here to be the difference in this world. When we have Jesus in our lives we have life. We don’t have the darkness of death hanging over us because God’s grace gives us eternal life.
