On May 17th & May 18th, Heritage Church is headed to the city of Detroit to partner with a local Christian nonprofit, LifeBuilders, for a serve weekend!
The mission of LifeBuilders is this, “To RECLAIM the neighborhood, REBUILD community, and to EMPOWER the youth.” They seek to “Serve Detroit to see restoration in the name of Jesus Christ.”
We’re offering (4) four-hour serve shifts throughout Friday, May 17th (8A – 12P & 1P – 5P) and Saturday, May 18th (8a – 12p & 1p -5p), and we’d love it if you would say YES to serving the community of Detroit alongside the community of Heritage Church!
This is not only a great opportunity to serve others outside the walls of Heritage Church, but it is also a great opportunity to form new connections or strengthen existing relationships!
