Groups
HC Groups are built for connection.
Life wasn’t meant to be lived alone, join a group and discover how much better it is when we grow, laugh, and do life together.

Life Is Better Together
HC Groups are 8-week semester based gatherings designed to help you grow in your faith and build meaningful relationships. Whether you're new to church or have been following Jesus for years, there's a place for you.
What are Heritage Church Groups?
HC Groups meet weekly for 8 weeks in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, and other comfortable spaces throughout our communities.
Each week you'll:
- Watch a short teaching from one of our pastors
- Read and discuss Scripture together
- Pray and encourage one another
- Build authentic friendships
No matter where you are in your faith journey, HC groups are designed to help you take your next steps alongside others.

Find a Group that fits your schedule
With groups meeting throughout the week, it's easy to find one that fits your schedule and season of life. Browse by day, time, campus, or group type—including men's, women's, couples, young adults, singles, and more. Whether you prefer meeting in person or online, there's a place for you.

Meet Some of Our Past & Present Leaders

Your next step starts in a group
Stepping into leadership in an HC Group doesn’t mean you have all the answers—it simply means you have a heart for Jesus and a willingness to create space for conversation. As a leader, your role is to guide discussion, encourage others, and help create an environment where people can grow together.
When you sign up to lead, you’re not doing it alone. You’ll become part of a community of leaders who are helping shape and strengthen our church in powerful ways. These small group settings are where real life happens—where people open up, build meaningful relationships, and take next steps in their faith.
We’ll equip you with everything you need to lead with confidence, including leader training and ongoing support from a coach. You’ll have the tools, encouragement, and guidance to make a lasting impact in the lives of others.

Basics for being an HC Group Leader

You must be a Christ-follower and aligned with Heritage Church’s vision and values. We also require you to complete our 101 Class.
You can host a group in your home, at a coffee shop or restaurant, or even over Zoom! Our mission is to connect people to each other and to God through HC Groups.
HC Group Leader sign-ups begin July 26th, and signups close on September 13th. Attendees can start signing up to join a group on September 13th. HC Groups will officially launch the week of October 4th and run through the week of Thanksgiving.
Read more about the vision behind our groups HERE.
We require you to attend our Leader Training, led by our campus pastors at one of our three campuses on September 13th. Pick the training location based on the campus you attend regularly!
Future Group Leaders
It’s time to sign up!
As you apply, take a few minutes to consider and pray through these questions:
- Where do I want to host my group?
- Do I want to co-lead with a friend?
- What kind of group do I want to lead?
- What can I write in my group bio that will help people connect with my group?

Leader Coaching & Support
As an HC Group Leader, you’re never expected to lead alone. Every leader has access to a coach who is available to encourage, equip, and support you throughout the season.
Whether you have questions about leading discussions, need help navigating a challenge within your group, or simply want to talk through ideas, your coach is just a text or phone call away. We’re also happy to meet up for coffee and provide personalized support whenever needed.
Our goal is to help you succeed as a leader. If your group is growing and you need additional help, we can even assist you in finding and developing a co-leader. No matter what season of leadership you're in, you have a team behind you that is committed to helping you thrive.
