Weddings at Heritage Church

Congratulations on your engagement!

We are excited to partner with you as you begin to plan for your wedding day and, more importantly, your future as a married couple. As you enter into the most intimate human relationship created by God, it's important for you and your fiancé to lay a strong foundation for your future by trusting in Christ as your Savior and committing to pre-marital counseling. This process is designed to help you build a Christ-centered marriage. Check out our FAQ's below for more details!

Question One:

Question: Can I book Heritage Church as the location for my wedding or reception?

Answer: Because of the nature of our building being a venue for conferences, youth and family events, and Saturday and Sunday church services, we are unable to host weddings or receptions at our Sterling Heights location at this time.

‍Question Two:

Question: Who will officiate our wedding?

Answer: There are costs for a standard pastoral honorarium. This price is the same regardless of what Heritage Church pastor you request. Our wedding coordinator will walk you through the costs if your date is available with the pastor's schedule.

‍Question Three:

Question: What are the costs incurred for performing a wedding?

Answer: There are costs incurred for technical support, volunteer support, Heritage coordinator, Pastoral honorarium and cleaning. Our wedding coordinator will walk you through the costs if your date is available with Heritage's schedule.

‍Question Four:

Question: Do you offer pre-marital mentoring?

Answer: Yes!  We want all of our marrying couples to participate in the 7-9 session “Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts” (www.symbis.com/) curriculum with one of our SYMBIS certified premarital facilitators, and complete a brief online “SYMBIS” Assessment which compliments the curriculum.  The cost for the Assessment, text, and workbooks is under $100, and our premarital mentoring is FREE!  This is a great way to prepare to launch your marriage well, and maximize your potential for building a satisfying and enduring marriage.
