Overview:

The PEACE Center exists to serve as Heritage Church’s hub for local missions,

community outreach, and compassionate engagement. We are looking for an organized,

mission-minded leader who is passionate about serving people and building a thriving

ministry that mobilizes volunteers, strengthens community partnerships, and extends

the love of Christ throughout Metro Detroit. This person will help establish the systems,

teams, and culture that enable the PEACE Center to make a lasting impact in our

community.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Help develop and improve the operational systems of the PEACE Center.

• Establish and maintain organized ministry processes and procedures.

• Coordinate ministry calendars, meetings, and project timelines.

• Assist in planning and executing outreach events and community initiatives.

• Build relationships with local organizations, schools, businesses, and nonprofit

partners.

• Identify opportunities to increase Heritage Church's impact throughout the

community.

• Recruit, onboard, and equip volunteers to serve in the PEACE Center.

• Help develop volunteer teams and identify emerging leaders.

• Maintain organized records for volunteers, projects, and ministry resources.

• Anticipate ministry needs and help solve problems before they become obstacles.

• Participate in ministry planning and contribute ideas for future growth.

• Support the overall mission of the PEACE Center by helping turn vision into

effective ministry.

Overview: The Stoney Campus Guest Services & Environments Coordinator helps create welcoming, engaging, and memorable environments that make people feel seen, connected, and excited to be part of Heritage Church. This role leads guest services teams while helping elevate Sunday experiences, special events, and connection opportunities throughout the campus.

This person helps bring energy, creativity, hospitality, and intentionality to Sundays and events by creating environments where guests and attenders can easily connect and take next steps.

This is a part time position, 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Lead and oversee Sunday Guest Services environments
  • Coordinate and support Guest Services volunteer teams:
    • Parking Lot
    • Greeters & Ushers
    • Guest Services Table
    • Prayer Team
    • Volunteer Care
  • Lead team huddles and communicate Sunday vision
  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteers and team leads
  • Help create a warm, welcoming, and high-energy Sunday culture

Community Engagement

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a musically-gifted, spiritually-mature, biblically-grounded, evangelistic Christian to lead worship at multiple Heritage Church campuses under the direction of the Worship Pastor. The ideal candidate has a high-energy, can-do outlook with the ability to work in a fast, fluid and flexible environment. The ideal candidate also has experience leading high- energy worship and performance songs in front of large crowds in a “seeker-aware” church, shepherding worship teams, and recruiting talented musicians, and vocalists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work under the direction of Worship Pastor to plan and execute the weekend and worship services at Heritage Church.
  • Lead the musical portion of assigned worship services.
  • Recruit, identity, and develop new volunteers in the church’s worship ministries.
  • Serve others, as needed, in a team environment.
  • Attend all church staff meetings and retreats.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A lifestyle congruent with the biblical requirements for leaders. (1 Timothy 3:1-13; 2 Timothy 2; Titus 1:5-9).

  • A demonstrated gift for high-energy worship leading.
  • A fun, outgoing, creative, problem-solving personality. A positive attitude is a must!
  • Willingness to design services and multiple creative components including new and old worship songs, secular songs, media, humor, fun element, etc.
  • Significant skill as a vocalist and instrumentalist. Preferably piano or guitar.
  • Broad knowledge of music across multiple styles and generational tastes.
  • Should be proficient in leading and arranging for vocalists and bands.
  • Should have experience leading and managing multiple staff and volunteer teams.
  • Should be familiar with Ableton, Logic, ProPresenter, and Planning Center.
