HC Groups Fall Semester starts Sunday, September 28th!
It’s undeniable – life is better together! That’s why we’re so excited for the upcoming Fall Semester of HC Groups starting this September. But first, we need something … YOU! Right now, we’re looking for people to HOST or LEAD an HC Group.
You don’t need to be a Bible scholar to lead a group – you just need to love Jesus and love people!
We’ll provide you with :
- Weekly videos
- Discussion questions
- Encouragement + support all semester long
What you bring to the table:
- A place to meet (living room, patio, local coffee shop, or even Zoom)
- A set time each week
- A heart for Jesus and people
Groups will meet across Sterling Heights, Imlay City, Stoney Creek, and virtually— so there’s a place for everyone.

Here are a few questions to be ready for:
- What day of the week and time would you like your group to meet?
- Where will your group meet: at a home, in an office, virtually, or somewhere else?
- Will your group be co-ed?
- Can attendees bring children?
- What’s a quick bio about you (and any co-leaders, if applicable)?

Basics for being an HC Group Leader
You must be a Christ-follower and aligned with Heritage Church’s vision and values. We also strongly encourage you to complete our 101 Class.
You can host a group in your home, at a coffee shop or restaurant, or even over Zoom! Our mission is to connect people to each other and to God through HC Groups.
HC Group Leader sign-ups begin Sunday, January 12, and close Sunday, February 2. Attendees can start signing up to join a group on February 9. HC Groups will officially launch the week of March 2 and run through the week before Easter.

We highly encourage you to attend our Leader Training, led by Quin Snyder, before leading a group.
- Sterling Heights, Stoney Creek, and Online groups: Sunday, February 2, from 5:00–7:30 PM at the Sterling Heights campus.
- Imlay City groups: Sunday, February 2, from 5:00–7:30 PM at 1299 N. Van Dyke Rd., Imlay City, MI 48444.
