6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:6 (NIV)
Prayer is a conversation between you and God. Although it is great to pray with others, Jesus said when you pray there is something important about spending time alone with God. Your motive when you pray is also important. We went through how you don’t want to make a public spectacle about praying to God. When you choose a quiet place like Jesus often did and spend time with God, you are making the relationship with Him a priority.
Still pray in the moment, but this week carve out time to spend alone with God.
